Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it a half-day event?
The half-day program is packed with ideas, stories, and performances by our speakers — but they are just a piece of the TEDx experience, the rest is up to you. We encourage you to forget about your obligations, gain some perspective on the challenges of the world and what you can do about it, have meaningful conversations with motivated people, and think about the ideas that you yourself have to offer the world.
Do I have to stay the whole time?
We are limited to 150 attendees, so we encourage each participant to stay the whole time. If you want to attend, but can only stay for a small portion, we would encourage you to give someone else the chance to go for the whole experience. The great thing about TEDx is that the longer you’re there, the more you get out of it! Also, snacks will be provided!
